Vintage Glamour by Karin Neate

Wouldn’t you just love one of these of yourself to keep?

Every year Karin does two picnic shoots for women only.

She explains here – After three of my annual Shallow Crossing Picnic Shoots, I’ve decided that I cannot possibly wait an entire year in between picnics! The Shallow Crossing one is held on the second Sunday of February each year and it’s such a lovely way to say goodbye to summer that I’ve decided to farewell winter with a winter woodland version! A bohemian gypsy witch inspired theme with the element of fire and smoke to oppose the summer picnic’s element of water.”

AND it’s FREE

There will be a bonfire too!

If you can’t make it that weekend, next time you are in Milton, be sure to drop in to visit Karin in her studio. It is a treasure trove and the minute you walk through the door your curiosity to explore and try things on will entertain and delight you and your friends. Costumes are also for hire.

My gorgeous and certainly not eccentric 81 year old mother and I just couldn’t resist when we walked in! We giggled and laughed and had a great time…and here is the proof for posterity. Next time I’m going back for a vintage glamour shoot like the one above!
